All the places we went to , the tour guide and good food, and accommodations were great

It was relaxing and informative. Got to see lot and rest on bus in between. The places to shop was legit and reasonably priced. The restroom breaks are perfectly timed. It was a great trip

The whole trip was well planned; all hotel accommodations were top tier. We visited many amazing sites even though a lot of time were spent on traveling between places but that was expected. Our tour guide, Ocean, was superb. He is very professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy going. Guizhou local tour guide, 阿福, is also a very nice and sincere person. The whole group got along extremely well plus two great guides; it made the entire trip enjoyable.

On the first day of the tour to Yunnan and Guizhou, when visiting the famous fall, in a hurry to find a restroom I momentarily forgot the warning from the tour guide to watch our steps, took a fall going downstairs and hit my forehead with the step. It bled profusely when the local guide found medical stuff and took care the bleeding. On the way back to the hotel, the tour leader Ocean took me and my wife to the provincial hospital and spent four hours going through all the procedures to make sure I am all right. That included CT scan, eye exam, nose exam, close to 30 stitches of the open wound on the forehead and 3 stitches on the nose wound. It was close to midnight when we got back to the hotel. Frankly I would have been helpless to take care of my situation without Ocean. Amazingly I attended almost all the activities the rest of the tour including the four days at the high attitude. 10 days later the stitches were removed in Cunming and no more bandages after another two days, leaving faint, almost non-detectable scar. As for the tour Peony certainly deliver what they promised, with all best available hotel stays and good/abundant meals. Ocean and the local guides not only did their jobs, also tried their best to promote harmony among fellow travelers so everyone had a good time. John Lai (80 years old)

We had a wonderful and memorable journey through Yunnan and Guizhou with Peony Tours. The itinerary was rich and diverse, offering beautiful scenery, fascinating local cultures, and many unique experiences along the way. A special thank you to our tour leader, Ocean Hu, who was excellent throughout the trip. He was attentive, responsible, and always made sure everyone was well taken care of. We would also like to give special recognition to our local guide in Guizhou, Ah Fu, whose professionalism and knowledge made our experience even more enjoyable. Both deserve a big thumbs-up! The only suggestion would be to allow a little more free time in the itinerary. While we appreciated seeing so many wonderful places, the schedule was quite packed and sometimes tiring. A slightly more relaxed pace would make the experience even better. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and rewarding journey. Thank you to Peony Tours and especially to Ocean and Ah Fu for making this trip so memorable!

We have been long-term customers of Ritz/Peony Tours, so when Peony started their new Yunnan-Guizhou tour, we took advantage of the opportunity to go. Again, Peony exceeded our expectations. I personally don't speak Mandarin though my husband does a little bit, but the bilingual guides made the tour enjoyable for us. In particular, our tour manager, Ocean, was amazing as usual (I had him before) with professionalism, details, organization, group harmony, personal attention, and excellent English! Our local tour guides in both Guizhou and Yunnan were also very good and attentive. I'm already signed up to go with Peony again next year to China's Northeast (Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Changbaishan) and I know that it will for sure be amazing. As for this Yunnan-Guizhou, we highly recommend it with Peony! You will not be disappointed.

Everything is well organized and planned as we expect. That also depends on the members in the group. This time we have someone who I don't think follow the time schedule in each place we visited and messed up with the plan and time for the whole group, but Jeff figured out the situation and got things moved well!

Ann and Sinan work very well to make it a wonderful trip. Both shared us a lot of knowledge about the country/people/history/etc. and Sinan pushed it very hard on hot air ballon ride. We had a great time and learned a lot about Turkey and its history.
